Slow-Cooked Pork and White Bean Stew


Winter days call for meals that simmer all afternoon, filling the house with inviting aromas. This pork and white bean stew does just that.

  • Ingredients: Pork shoulder, white beans, carrots, rosemary.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder, cubed

  • 1 can white beans, drained

  • 2 carrots, sliced

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp rosemary

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Steps:

  1. In a slow cooker, combine pork, beans, carrots, onion, broth, and rosemary.

  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, until pork is tender.

  3. Season to taste and serve with fresh parsley if desired.
